Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections
- Manage patient records using EHR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting
- Proficiency in EHR/EMR software and medical terminology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends)
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and drug screening
