Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including updating medical histories and measuring vital signs (blood pressure, weight, temperature).
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Manage and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Coordinate patient referrals and communicate effectively with specialists.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting is a strong plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
