Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during exams.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform and document vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations.
- Manage patient records, including updating Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage front-desk administrative tasks.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
