Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or eligible for compact license).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
