Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, verify insurance information, and maintain accurate records.
- Clinical Support: Assist providers with patient examinations, prepare treatment rooms, and perform routine vitals (BP, HR, Temp).
- Procedural Assistance: Administer injections, perform EKGs, and assist with minor office procedures under provider supervision.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain electronic health records (EHR), schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries professionally.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to sterilization protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification required.
- Licensure: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred, but we offer training for exceptional candidates.
- Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems (Epic, AthenaHealth, etc.) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong patient-centric approach.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings, as required by the clinic schedule.
