Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests as directed by providers.
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during examinations and medical procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records and charts.
- Administer medications and injections under strict physician supervision.
- Handle incoming phone calls and patient inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting (preferred).
- Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
