Responsibilities
- Greet & Check-In: Welcome patients warmly, verify demographics, and ensure accurate check-in procedures for a smooth intake process.
- Vital Signs: Measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, under the guidance of clinical staff.
- Clinical Support: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize medical instruments, and assist physicians and nurses during patient visits.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, handle incoming calls, and handle insurance verification.
- Phlebotomy: Perform basic blood draws and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Patient Education: Provide clear instructions regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care to patients.
- Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and clinic protocols to ensure patient privacy and safety.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we value attitude, aptitude, and a willingness to learn.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to interact compassionately with patients of all backgrounds and ages.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain organized, accurate records.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends as needed.
