Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in procedures efficiently.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and minor procedures.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests accurately.
- Prepare and maintain medical records, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Administer injections and handle medication dispensing under supervision.
- Coordinate patient follow-up care and appointment scheduling.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CMA, RMA, or NCMA certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
