Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests accurately and efficiently.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
- Administer immunizations and injections according to established protocols.
- Manage patient records electronically using our EHR system.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and prepare them for their visit.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CMA or RMA certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical setting.
