Responsibilities
- Perform basic patient assessments, including measuring vital signs and recording medical history.
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient visits.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with clinical procedures and patient examinations.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Draw blood and collect laboratory specimens for testing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and charts.
- Greet patients warmly, answer phones, and manage front desk reception duties.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA) is preferred, but we offer training for qualified entry-level candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate electronic health record systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends.
