Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for their appointments.
- Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient visits.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Draw blood samples and administer injections as directed by providers.
- Manage patient records, including updating electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Provide patient education on medication and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Willingness to complete on-the-job training and certification courses.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
