Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and minor procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Manage patient electronic health records (EHR) with 100% accuracy
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and preventive care
- Schedule appointments and handle insurance verification
- Support front desk operations during peak hours
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Nevada state MA license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Phlebotomy and EKG certification preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
