Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Assist with mobility transfers and mobility aid usage
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Companionship through conversation, games, and daily engagement
- Light housekeeping and laundry services
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate with family/medical teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Texas state caregiver certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
