Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, measurements, and patient intakes.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and manage incoming communications efficiently.
- Ensure the examination rooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized according to safety protocols.
- Provide patient education and support to ensure a positive care experience.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CMAA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) consistently.
- Valid California Medical Assistant license.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
