Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history documentation accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for physician examinations.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during clinical procedures and treatments.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage patient scheduling, insurance verification, and electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide clear patient education and exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
