Responsibilities
- Perform routine medical examinations and accurately record patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate).
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting physicians and ensuring comfort.
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform basic phlebotomy as directed.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and check them in/out efficiently.
- Assist with minor medical procedures and sterilization of instruments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential is required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and/or ACLS certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient empathy and clarity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
