Responsibilities
- Accurately perform patient vital signs, height, weight, and temperature checks.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, minor procedures, and treatments.
- Manage patient intake processes, including updating medical histories and insurance verification.
- Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical instruments for night shift procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Respond to patient inquiries and coordinate care effectively with nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
