Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform accurate vital signs and EKG recordings
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Maintain sterile exam environments and equipment
- Document patient information in EMR systems
- Coordinate patient flow and triage during overnight hours
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active MA certification in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
