Responsibilities
- Administer injections, medications, and wound care under physician supervision
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Document patient encounters in EHR systems with precision
- Assist providers during emergency procedures and trauma cases
- Coordinate patient flow and triage overnight patient needs
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year hospital or urgent care experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and EKG skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Excellent communication and crisis management abilities
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekends/holidays
