Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to critical situations and emergencies within the unit.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, charting, and patient logs.
- Education: Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- License: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, though new graduates with exceptional dedication are considered.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Availability: Must be available to work scheduled weekend shifts (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon) consistently.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Technology: Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
