Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Prepare and maintain sterile exam rooms and medical equipment
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Triage patient calls and provide basic patient education
- Coordinate laboratory specimens and diagnostic imaging
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
