Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical history reviews.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and examination rooms.
- Administer medications and perform point-of-care testing (e.g., EKG, phlebotomy).
- Manage patient records and ensure accuracy in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current Illinois state licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work nights (e.g., 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) reliably.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
