- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and health history assessments during night shifts.
- Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and patient education.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
- Update and accurately maintain patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Handle incoming calls and messages during off-hours when necessary.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or MA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computerized medical systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.).
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
