Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient assessments, including measuring vital signs and recording medical histories.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Administer medications and perform basic laboratory tests as directed by physicians.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage incoming patient inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe clinical environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
