Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient assessments, including vital signs, height, weight, and temperature monitoring during the night shift.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with examinations, procedures, and patient admissions.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical records and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collect and process laboratory specimens according to strict quality control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care instructions and hospital procedures.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or urgent care.
- Must be available to work nights (evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with medical software and electronic health records.
