Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake, including vitals, weight, and height measurements.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment for the night shift.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures as directed.
- Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a licensed provider.
- Manage patient records and Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient comfort.
- Assist with blood draws and point-of-care testing as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA, RMA, or MA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an urgent care or hospital environment.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must pass a background check and drug screen.
