As a Medical Assistant on our night shift, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals, intake, and health assessments during the night shift.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing (EKG, phlebotomy).
- Manage night shift inventory, including medication preparation and supply organization.
- Document patient information accurately into Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized clinical environment.
- Administer medications and treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, preferably in an urgent care or hospital setting.
- Reliable availability for rotating night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR systems (Epic, AthenaHealth, etc.).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
