Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, medications administered, and clinical observations.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide high-quality critical care interventions.
- Educate patients and families regarding discharge instructions and post-care management.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required for ICU/ER roles).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred; new graduates with a BSN may be considered.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
