Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical standards and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner within electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Strong computer proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
