Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, physical exams, and EKGs accurately during night hours.
- Manage patient intake, obtain medical history, and prepare exam rooms for next-day operations.
- Administer medications and injections under the strict supervision of physicians.
- Update Electronic Health Records (EHR) and complete all night charting promptly.
- Assist with basic laboratory procedures, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for all patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients and the night shift nursing team.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and computer navigation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid capacity.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
