Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist physicians and nurse practitioners in performing examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Vitals & Intake: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, medical history, and symptoms.
- Phlebotomy: Perform venipuncture and blood draws with precision and patient comfort in mind.
- Admin Tasks: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage inventory of medical supplies.
- Charting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Health Records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Communication: Clearly communicate patient needs and instructions to the healthcare team.
- Shift Support: Ensure a safe and organized environment during the night shift hours.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred.
- Licensure: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Schedule: Must be available to work nights (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM) and occasional weekends.
- Skills: Proficiency in phlebotomy, EHR software, and general clinical procedures.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
