Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory draws (phlebotomy).
- Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient documentation.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment to ensure safety standards.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Manage patient flow and communicate effectively with the care team.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide pre- and post-procedure education.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications (if applicable to specialty).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM).
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
