We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to ensure our patients receive the best care possible during the evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Conduct patient intake, obtain vitals, and prepare patients for examinations by the attending physician.
- Procedures: Assist with basic clinical procedures including phlebotomy, EKGs, and injections as authorized.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Laboratory: Collect and process laboratory specimens according to strict protocols.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Inventory: Manage clinic supplies and inventory to ensure readiness for the night shift.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Licensure: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for healthcare providers.
- Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) software (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
