Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor patient vital signs and document health observations
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Transport patients to medical appointments and errands
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with special dietary needs
- Assist with light housekeeping and patient laundry
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate with healthcare teams
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Tennessee Home Health Aide certification
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy-driven approach
