Job Responsibilities

  • Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and general health assessments during the night shift.
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor medical interventions.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical equipment is sterile and ready for use.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Handle patient discharge instructions and referrals efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or urgent care environment.
  • Must be available to work nights, rotating weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely.
