Job Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and general health assessments during the night shift.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor medical interventions.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical equipment is sterile and ready for use.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Handle patient discharge instructions and referrals efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or urgent care environment.
- Must be available to work nights, rotating weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely.
