Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vitals checks with precision and empathy.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately during the shift.
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care for hospitalized patients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during the night shift.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
