Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations in electronic health records
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support
- Transport residents to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain clean and sanitized resident environments
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent nursing assistant experience
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with availability for both shifts
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
- Strong communication skills with residents, families, and medical staff
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Successful background check and drug screening
