Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, physical exams, and record medical histories accurately.
- Assist providers with procedures and prepare examination rooms for daily operations.
- Draw blood and administer injections as per provider orders and protocols.
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and insurance verification.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
- Handle incoming calls and patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or urgent care setting.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a night shift environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
