Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital sign checks and patient history documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Manage patient flow and coordinate with clinical staff
- Administer injections and assist with minor treatments
- Handle basic lab specimen collection and processing
- Maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems
- Provide compassionate patient education and support
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical assistant certification preferred (will provide training)
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn EMR systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
