Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform basic clinical tasks (vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy training provided)
- Manage electronic health records and patient documentation
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (training available)
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn EMR systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
