Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight)
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Perform basic lab tests and collect patient specimens
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Update electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Schedule patient appointments and manage correspondence
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No medical experience necessary – training provided
