Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare team to optimize patient flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior medical experience necessary - we provide full training!
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred but not required
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn EHR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
- CPR certification (will be provided if not already held)
- Background check and drug screening required
