Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, patient intake, and prepare patients for examination.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures, injections, and patient education.
- Administer medications and vaccinations according to established protocols.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) with high accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referral services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or clinic setting.
- Proficient in computer systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
