Responsibilities
- Patient Preparation: Greet patients, verify insurance, and prepare them for examinations.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assistance: Assist providers during exams and procedures as directed.
- Injections: Administer injections and medications following strict safety protocols (training provided).
- Administrative: Maintain and update patient medical records and charts in our EHR system.
- Lab Work: Collect and process specimens for laboratory analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Experience: No prior medical experience required. We value attitude and aptitude over tenure.
- Licensure: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
