Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and vital signs in EHR systems
- Administer injections, medications, and perform basic lab tests
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Schedule appointments and handle patient correspondence
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all patient data
- Coordinate care between patients, providers, and specialists
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Passion for patient care and willingness to learn
- Basic computer literacy with ability to adapt to EHR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Successful background check and drug screening
- Washington State MA certification preferred (training provided)
