Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with exams, recording vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature), and taking medical histories.
- Perform basic lab duties, including blood draws and specimen collection, following strict safety protocols.
- Assist the healthcare provider during procedures and provide patient education on medication and post-care instructions.
- Manage and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Handle front desk administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing insurance information.
- Maintain a clean and organized examination room environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centric attitude.
