Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking exercises.
- Administer medication as prescribed by licensed nursing staff.
- Document patient activities, behaviors, and changes in health conditions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
