Responsibilities

- Room Preparation: Maintain examination rooms in pristine condition, ensuring all medical equipment is sterilized and ready for patient use.
- Assistance: Support physicians and nurses during patient exams, minor procedures, and diagnostic testing with precision and care.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient intake forms, update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately, and handle incoming calls with professionalism.
- Lab Support: Collect and prepare blood samples or other biological specimens for laboratory analysis under strict protocols.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients and the medical team, ensuring clear communication and addressing patient inquiries promptly.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock medical supplies and exam rooms to prevent operational downtime.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; Certification as a CMA or RMA is a plus but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Experience: No prior clinical experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records systems.
- Attributes: Strong interpersonal communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions associated with clinical duties.
