Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in efficiently upon arrival in Nashville and Georgia clinics.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Administer vaccinations and perform basic laboratory tests as directed by providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Assist with patient education regarding medications and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior medical experience is necessary; we train the right candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when necessary.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn electronic health record systems.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
