Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring all medical instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
- Perform basic clinical duties such as taking blood pressure, temperature, weight, and recording patient medical history.
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently to reduce wait times.
- Administer injections or vaccinations as directed by the physician after proper training.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Willingness to complete paid on-site training and certification programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and patient comfort.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new medical software quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Reliable transportation for travel between clinic locations in TN and GA.
